About the role:

It’s an exciting time to join University College Birmingham. We are rapidly expanding our Higher Education and Further Education courses and as part of our growing UK Recruitment and Outreach team, you will play a key part on that journey.

We are seeking a motivated Recruitment and Outreach Officer to represent University College Birmingham across Schools and Colleges, building meaningful partnerships and inspiring the next generation of students to pursue ambitious careers in industry-focused disciplines.

This is an outward-facing role for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering engaging presentations and making a tangible impact. You will act as a regional ambassador for UCB, championing our distinctive, career-led courses and supporting students to see higher education as a realistic and exciting progression pathway.

Frequent travel across the West Midlands, and occasionally further afield, is required for this role. Therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Key duties:

· Representing University College Birmingham at Schools, Colleges and national recruitment events

· Delivering engaging presentations and interactive workshops

· Developing strong partnerships with teachers and careers leaders

· Promoting subject masterclasses and campus experiences

· Contributing to regional recruitment growth strategies

· Using insight and data to strengthen engagement activity
